Booking & pricing

Q: How far in advance should I book?

A: Please book at least three days before your arrival. For peak seasons and weekends, we recommend booking early to secure your dates.

A: Cancellations made 5 or more days before arrival are free of charge. Within 5 days of arrival, a fee of 50–100% of the nightly rate applies.

A: All utilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, and essential amenities are included. No hidden fees.

A: A surcharge of ¥3,000 per person applies for groups of three or more guests.

Check-in and check-out

Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?

A: Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.

A: It may be possible depending on the time. Please contact us.

A: Your host will meet you in person and walk you through the property. Please let us know 30 minutes before you arrive so we can be ready to welcome you.
Please contact us 30 minutes prior to arrival.

A: The replacement fee is 1,000 yen per card. If you take one home by mistake, please mail it back to us.

Facilities and amenities

Q: Is Wi-Fi available?

A: Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is included. Simply scan the QR code posted in the room to connect.

A: We provide basic towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
In addition, we provide slippers, toothbrushes, and earplugs for each guest.

A: You are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer. We also provide laundry detergent.

A: We offer free parking for two passenger cars. We can accommodate 3–4 motorcycles. (Covered)
Bicycles can also be stored indoors. (Subject to availability)
Parking is available before and after your stay. (Subject to availability)

Rules during your stay

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: Smoking is prohibited inside the building. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside.

A: Currently, we do not allow pets.

A: We kindly ask all guests to keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM, out of respect for our neighbors.

A: Please separate your trash according to the rules of your local government. Please check the information provided in the facility for the time and method of trash collection.

Other services

Q: Are meals provided?

A: Meals are not included, but the fully equipped kitchen is yours to use. We’re happy to point you toward local grocery stores, supermarkets, and our favourite nearby restaurants.

A: Absolutely. We know Uji well and love sharing our favourite spots — from hidden tea houses to lesser-known shrines. Just ask.

A: If you would like to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, please contact the host in advance. This may be possible.

Troubleshooting

Q: What should I do if something isn't working?

A: Please contact us right away — we’re available 24 hours a day.

A: Please contact us as soon as you notice. We can arrange to return lost items by post — shipping costs are the guest’s responsibility.
